Ripple Postpartum Care strives to provide compassionate, personalized care for all individuals during their postpartum window. I believe that every birthing person is worthy and deserving of care and that this care should be personalized and accessible. I view care work as essential labor and I believe that by valuing care, we value people.
What is Embodied Postpartum Care?
Embodied care focuses on bringing the body and mind together in the present moment. Postpartum care is the act of tending to a birther in the first weeks and months after birth. It can include light housework, childcare for older siblings, meal prep and herbal support. Embodied postpartum care provides space for a person to synthesize their experience while feeling grounded and supported. For more information click here
Who is Postpartum Care for?
Postpartum care is for every birthing person! Everyone who gives birth (and their family) can benefit from having postpartum care. I believe everyone is entitled to care regardless of their skin color, gender, sexual identity, and financial situation. Not every pregnancy ends in birth. If you need care for any other reason such as miscarriage, abortion or adoption, please do not hesitate to reach out.
